Worked to a
frazzle?
 Want to relax
Why don't you
 just a bit
right now?
take a
MIND VACATION?
Download either (or both) of the following PowerPoint
Presentations.  Enjoy the soothing music and the gentle words.  Click here for downloading instructions.

(the download available free on this page should not be confused with similarly named, and much more sophisticated, product called "MindVacations" produced by Introspectives, Inc.
Click here to navigate to Introspective's "MindVacations.")

MIND VACATION

(1.8 mb; Download time 5 min @56k; Presentation runtime:  approx. 8 minutes 30 seconds)
Below are some samples of some MINDVACATION screens  (yeah, they may seem corny and syrupy, but when you view the actual program, it all makes sense and "feels right").

For something a bit more irreverent (but very clean), try
DEEP, DEEP THOUGHTS.
Same schpiel regarding the download.

DEEP,DEEP THOUGHTS
(863 kb; Download time 5 min @56k;  Presentation runtime: approx. 5 minutes 20 seconds)

No sample shots are provided for DEEP,DEEP THOUGHTS.  Telling you too much will spoil the effect.
(For the full effect of Deep, Deep Thoughts, you should view Mind Vacation first, several times.)

NOTE: To play any of the above presentations, you will need either (1) Power Point(c)  installed on your system or (2) a copy of Power Point(c) Viewer, MicroSoft's free Power Point player/viewer.  You can download the  viewer by pressing on the following blue letters:  Power Point Player

Downloading and installation instructions (you may wish to print this part of the page for further reference):
(click here to get a copy of these instructions on a page all to themselves--that way you are only printing the instructions.)
Click on any of the blue underlined words which represent the presentation you want to download. When the downloading screen comes up in your browser, choose a path in which you want to save the download. AOL users typically save downloads in a path called C:\America Online 5.0\downloads.  Note the path to where you are downloading the file.  Start the download.  The estimated download time is noted beneath the programs title above.

Once the downloading is complete, you may exit your browser. Choose the Run option in the Start menu and locate and launch the file you just downloaded. (The file is called "Mindvacaion.exe" or "Deepthoughts.exe", depending upon which one you selected, and is where you told your Web browser to save it.)  Alternately, you can use Window's Explorer and simply do a 'Search' for a program called "Mindvacaion.exe" or "Deepthoughts.exe" (depending upon which one you downloaded).  That will take you straight to the program.

Double click on the program you downloaded.  The files will "self-extract" and (if you accept the defaults) will be installed in a subdirectory on your hard drive called 'C:\PowerPoint Presentations'.

You are now ready to take your Mind Vacation, or enjoy some Deep, Deep Thoughts.  Navigate to the directory on your C: drive called 'C:\PowerPoint Presentations'.  Double click on the name of the file you want to view.  Gather some friends, turn down the lights, relax, and enjoy.  If you have some proposed additions, please e-mail me at asrisl@aol.com.
